Moss Street Paint-In 2025

On  July 19th, 2025, as thousands gather for the annual Moss Street Paint-In, celebrating the incredible talent of artists from Vancouver Island. Enjoy the lively sounds of accordion, guitar, a dancing violin group, all while savoring delicious offerings from a variety of food trucks. With perfect temperatures and plenty of rest stations providing free water it's the ideal setting for families and friends to enjoy a fantastic day. I never miss out on this vibrant community event!

Ingrid Mesquita

Ingrid's powerful colours and technique were definitely a draw for me and many others. She was humble and kind as shown in her art. I loved her little dachshund and made it very easy for me to chat with her.

Shobha is a dedicated volunteer hailing from Nepal, pursuing her Engineering degree here  at Uvic. Alongside her studies, she showcases her artistic talents and graphic arts and works as a chef at a local restaurant. Her diverse skills and passion for helping others make her an inspiring individual in the community.

Mary Jo Hughes' work is a true reflection of the beauty and spirit of Vancouver Island. The iconic BC ferries and boats she captures resonate with both locals and visitors alike, embodying the essence of island life. Her artistry brings to life the breathtaking landscapes and vibrant culture that make Vancouver Island so special. Experience her remarkable creations and celebrate the charm of this stunning region.

Kathy Baker

Kathy Baker's eclectic paintings showcase her undeniable talent and a unique ability to bring her visions to life on canvas. Alongside her husband, she attended the Deuce Coupe car show, which attracted tens of thousands of visitors to Victoria from around the globe. They even entered a  car in the show. Kathy graciously shared some helpful tips for navigating the show and making the most of the experience.
